Liam Shannon is the Executive Director of Carolina Soccer Club (CSC) in Concord, North Carolina.
Liam has coached club, middle school, high school, and college.
Before helping establish Carolina Soccer Club, Liam coached at Charlotte Soccer Academy (CSA) from 2014 – 2015 and served as Director of Player Development for FC Carolina Alliance (FCCA) from 2011 – 2014. Liam has also taken on various community roles: commissioner of the Cabarrus County Middle School League (2011 – 2014), Cannon Middle School boys’ soccer coach (2015) and Hickory Ridge Middle School girls’ soccer coach (2016).
Liam moved to North Carolina in 2010 to take the position of assistant men’s soccer coach at Pfeiffer University. From 2007 – 2010 Liam taught social studies and coached the boys’ soccer team at Cedartown High School in Cedartown, GA.
Liam graduated from Berry College in 2006 with a double major in government and history. He was a member of Berry’s soccer team for 4 years as a full scholarship player.
